Relocating? Let me be your guide
When relocating to a new area, you may have a lot on your mind: a different job, different schools, a different church, different daily routines, and of course, finding a new place for your family to call "home". At RE/MAX Bay to Bay, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you often don't have the time to look at every house for sale. Most likely, you'll have the time to see a couple dozen, so whittle down the list first thing with this advice:
- Arrive into town with two lists: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can cross it off the list.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, have your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes which exceed your price range.
- Consider drive time to your job or other activities. Traffic in the Tampa area could be different than what you're used to, so let me know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
I can send you my best recommendations before you get into town. Or if you've already started your search, let me know what you've found. While virtual tours and photos are helpful, there's nothing like seeing homes in person. I can arrange any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could tour up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day with the proper planning.
