Relocating? Let me be your guide
When moving to a new town, you can have an overwhelming amount of things on your mind: New job, new school, new church, new routines, and last but not least, finding a new place for your family to live. At RE/MAX Bay to Bay, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you probably won't have the luxury of looking at every home on the market. Most likely, you'll have the time to visit 20 to 25, so narrow down that list first thing with these tips:
- Before coming into town, write your needs into one list. Then write your wants in another. When a home doesn't even meet your needs, it's one less house to look at.
- Know your budget. If you are going to get a home loan, know your pre-approved amount prior to seeing listings so we can eliminate homes beyond your price range.
- Consider drive time to work or other interests. Traffic around Tampa could be different than what you're used to, so let me know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
I can send you my top recommendations before you get into town. Or if you've done your own research already, let me know what you've found. While seeing listing photos on the web is helpful, there's nothing like seeing homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could see 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
