Moving to the Tampa area?
Moving to a new town can push someone to their mental limits, without mixing in the daunting task of finding a place for your family in addition to finding the right Realtor. At RE/MAX Bay to Bay, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you probably won't have the time to look at every home on the market. At best, you might have the time to tour a couple dozen, so whittle down the list first thing with this advice:
- Send me two lists a few days before arriving: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can naturally eliminate it from the list.
- Have a set price range. This could be based on mortgage or a conservative estimate of what you'll net from the sale of your current home.
- How long of a commute are you ready to make each day to work and other activities? Traffic in the Tampa area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so tell me your expected drive-time, and I'll find homes accordingly.
I can send you some best recommendations prior to your arrival. Or if you've done your own research already, let me know what you've found. While seeing listing photos on the web is great, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments and map a route. We could visit up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day if we work efficiently.
